QUANTUM FORCE playing historic venues

Quantum Force kicked off August performing at the historic Gothic Theatre, located in Englewood, Colorado, in front of hundreds eager to see not only them but also four other acts. Headliners Brandon Parker Band asked Sean Dixon and Daniel Milliard to join them on stage, as the last hours wound down on August 2nd. It was the first time that Dixon had played with Quantum Force at the almost century old theater.

The Gothic was built in the 1920s with an art deco theme and featured the first "talkies." Movies that talked. This reporter, having lived right off of Broadway, just down the street, visited the Gothic frequently when it was a movie theater back in the 1970s. There was a closer movie theater called the Jewel, but the Gothic was the place to go to get better seating and ambiance.

Dixon, who has known Milliard since their junior high school days, is the newest recruit of the band. The rest of Quantum Force, band members Milliard, Neal Miller and drummer Eddie Rifle, have been playing together off and on for 25 years.

Just last night QUANTUM FORCE opened up for national band Oleanders at Moe's BBQ, neighbors of the Gothic. They are keeping the "Colorado rock and roll band playing in local venues" theme alive, but wouldn't mind getting a little national attention, either. They thoroughly enjoy playing to their loyal fans, but are trying to let the rest of the country know that they ROCK!
